Audiotactile models

The kiosks describe a space or an object to the user through:

• A physical touchable element that offers information through touch (these can be a tactile map or a 3D model)
• A speech device offering audio information upon the place the user touched.
• Captions for the audio messages on a monitor.

By offering information in multiple channels we want these kiosks to be used by the widest number of users and constitute our approach to the principles of Universal Design.
